As promised, I am sharing with you how I changed my life completely. All these years I hate my body. I dislike my curves and hated it when someone tells me that I should lose weight.
Fast forward, I made a decision to start off with little steps. I began exercising 1 time in a week. Over a year, I gradually increased it to 3-5 times a week. Initially, it was a drag to do it but after awhile, it was a routine that became a part of my lifestyle. The inch loss was extremely slow but it was definitely a good start for anyone who wishes to be healthy.
My gym buddy kept nagging at me to watch what I put inside my bodies but I didn't heed his advice. I continued to eat anything and everything that is edible, looks yummy and smells delicious. After that 1yr, I started on an organic diet. It wasn't a weight lost thing. It was more of feeding your bodies with nutritious food. Started off my day with a super healthy breakfast with high fibre, protein and vitamins was what I did. It kept me full, boosted my energy, made my brain active and my mood was generally happier. I started to attract positive things into my life. And guess what? Within 2 weeks, I lost inches. Now, after 3mths, I have lost 5kg. Dropped from a size US18 to US12. Pretty cool right?
Breakfast time is when your brain and your bodies sets its tone for the day. Eating right for breakfast will program your bodies to only accept healthy and nutritious ingredients. All the rest will be flushed out at the end of the day. I do crave for unhealthy foods but after a bite or two, I just don't want it anymore. Now, crave for healthy foods and my body response to exercise. I will feel sluggish if I don't exercise after 2-3days. It has been programmed in as a part of my lifestyle.
Tips to lose weight naturally:
- Eat healthily. Try starting with breakfast.
- Sleep well.
- 30-60mins, 3-5 times a week. Intensively. Mix cardio and strength training. Begin with 1 time a week if you are not used to it.
- Reset your mind. Have pictures of people with healthy bodies in your hp or plastered on your wall to motivate and remind you.
The idea is to Love who you are and work on it. Staying healthy will help you work faster and think better. You prevent the risk of ending up in the hospital or paying huge amounts of medical bills each month. Go at your own pace but most importantly YOU MUST DECIDE TO LIVE HEALTHY! The body is yours.
